“The nicest thing about the rain is that it always stops. Eventually.”

Couples Therapy for Depression is a specific evidence-based therapy as an option to treat depression within the context of a relationship.
It is common for mental health problems to create distress and have an impact upon relationships, as a result it can be advantageous to include both parties within treatment as both parties are often directly or indirectly affected by depression within the unit.
Depression can have a significant impact on communication, as a result, sometimes it can be helpful to have a mediator aiding and exploring communication and addressing conflict management. The focus often can be on the relationship itself rather than either partner, as a means of achieving change within the unit.
Sessions are for couples where one or both partners are suffering from depression and you will be offered between 12 to 20 sessions.
