Primarily based in Canterbury and surrounding Coastal areas, UMCPT provides psychological therapies to those living and registered with a GP in East Kent, including South Kent Coast.
We offer treatment across these locations from various GP Practices, Community Settings and from our own Premises. However, we cannot specify where exactly you will be seen as this will depend on the location and availability of waiting list.
We also offer support in Ashford, by working closely with FCS Talking Therapies.
Our management and administration team are based in our main premises in Canterbury, at the University Medical Centre.
Although we cover a large area of East Kent, the locations we are able to provide face-to-face therapy from are more limited, and all of which are based in Canterbury and Coastal Areas. Unfortunately we do not offer a service to individuals based in West Kent (e.g. Medway, Maidstone, Gravesham etc.) and more local services can be found for these areas.
For more specific information about each of our face-to-face location please select the relevant area:
We offer a variety of therapy options in multiple locations and will endeavor to provide an option for you at your preferred location. However, we cannot guarantee that the therapy most suitable for you will be available in the location of your choice.
